The first time I met my now father in law, after I left, he apparently congratulated my now husband and asked if I was legal. As a compliment. I was 20. 🤢
I want people to understand that in my youth, a youth that happened somewhere between the youth of Epstein, Trump, Maxwell, ex-Prince Andrew, et al & that of their victims, the term "jail bait" was framed as a compliment.

Truly fascinating that rich men have been proven to believe almost to a man that access to young girl’s bodies is inalienable right that accompanies their wealth and privilege. Even those that didn’t participate did nothing to stop it. Further proof we need to burn the whole system to the ground

Raising a child is about giving them a foundation to live the best, well-rounded, happy life they can. You’re not “protecting” a kid you refuse to let grow up and become different than you. If you’re raising a kid to be a worker first and foremost, you’re a fucking ghoul.
I think the belief by the powerful that "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" is incredibly revealing in terms of understanding How We Got Here

Victory! I successfully roasted a chicken! I didn’t do the best trussing job, and the wings popped out during cooking so I didn’t tuck those under properly, but that aside, the chicken tasted amazing! I will definitely be doing this again.

I’m almost a month out of chemo and I cannot believe how good I feel! I have the energy I had when I was 25, albeit for a short time, but that’s improving every day. I can’t believe I felt so bad for so long and thought it was just getting older, or depression, or a hangover. Trust your body, folks!

I’m so excited to be food posting again!! Tonight I am making seared filet mignon, sweet potato rounds with goat cheese and herbs, and garlic butter green beans. Just gotta wait for the dishwasher to finish and release all of my cutting boards. The eternal struggle.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
