Victory! I successfully roasted a chicken! I didn’t do the best trussing job, and the wings popped out during cooking so I didn’t tuck those under properly, but that aside, the chicken tasted amazing! I will definitely be doing this again.

Worth it. The minestrone was excellent, and I’ll sleep really well tonight after all this. I gave myself two weeks to recover, so this is day 1 of post-chemo Emi and it was a success!

Saw the oncologist today and he confirmed what we knew from the scans, I am cancer free! No appointments until my next scans in a few months. Time for my current fav drink - Candente’s Blackberry Diablo. It’s got habanero for a lovely kick!
