Recipes for bread machine whole wheat loaf.
I replace the canola oil with extra virgin olive oil and add vital wheat gluten, a tablespoon per pound of flour, for better texture and rise.

The Limoncello spaghetti seems to be dry when reheated. So I added more lemon juice and sour cream.
The bottle of Limoncello in the freezer is good with tonic water, optionally you can add a fruit syrup.

The link recipe adds rosemary garnish.

Change in weather forecast. @glendajeanne.bsky.social reminded me to charge up our emergency power and deploy solar panels for a possible ice storm.
Our new electric vehicle is also an emergency shelter and power supply.

When I firmly realized the so-called liberal media were idiots and the enemy.
Remember when a perfectly good candidate had to drop out of the presidential race because he got too happy?

True story. Good ol days…

I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

Literally everyone who even vaguely knew what a tariff was said this when they were introduced! You don’t need a team of economists to analyze the situation — no one who lives in reality was confused by this!
“Foreign exporters absorbed only 4% of last year’s U.S. tariff increases by lowering prices, while American consumers and importers absorbed 96%.

“Rather than acting as a tax on foreign producers, the tariffs functioned as a consumption tax on Americans.”

I recently heard historian Robert Kagan say: “What's at risk right now is literally our democracy in the sense that I don't think Trump is going to allow free and fair elections in 2026.”

My job is to fight in court to prove him wrong even while I fear he may be right.
