I can't remember the last time I saw an article just focus on this. Not that they've bent the truth or misrepresented a few facts a little, but that every single solitary thing that the GOP says on the topic is a stone cold lie with absolutely no basis in reality.

Raul Julia loved what art could be whether it was highbrow or cheesy genre fare and poured himself into it. You know that cheesy Overdrawn at the Memory Bank movie from MST3K? He wasn’t a young struggling actor, his local PBS station made that and he loved Public Television and wanted to be in it!
Today would’ve been Raul Julia’s 85th birthday. To us in the horror community, he will always be Gomez Addams. When dying he told his family being Gomez was one of his favorite roles. He loved that
kids would recognize him and enjoyed that he had given them reasons to smile.
