They've been doing this for decades. The very day their patent expires they start telling you you have to switch to the new time-release version of your regular medication that now costs ten times as much. And people mostly take what their doctors prescribe.
This is the kind of stuff that really radicalizes me and should infuriate any decent person: Big Pharma’s abuse of the patent system.
I know this sounds naive, but something has got to change… there’s no constituency for Big Pharma!

It's amazing how quiet all the "you have to vote Labour to get the Tories" lot are about Starmer pursuing right-wing policies. It's almost as if they just wanted their racism and contempt for the working class dressed up in a slightly more presentable package.
