Portland: if a streamer from out of state gets arrested or detained, perhaps wait to see if he gets more than a citation before donating $100,000+ to his "legal defense". that money is vastly in excess of what he might possibly need and could have gone to helping people in serious legal jeopardy

Come on, why is everyone dogpiling this? Very few people suspected the breadth of the cuts to the federal government, nor that so many institutions (and at times, the opposition) would simply roll over and let entire agencies be unconstitutionally dismantled.
This. This administration is even worse than any of us thought possible. Who had destroy NIH, CDC, USAID, EPA, scientific research all at the same time on their bingo card?

I genuinely feel we need a Democrat to announce their candidacy for President ASAP, preferably someone with charisma who can be on screen constantly. They need to be the voice of reason and make it their entire job to just challenge and call out this admin each and every second of each and every day
