And just to prove we (the public) haven't learned a thing from it, Farage is currently leading in the polls.

Perhaps this is accurate, and maybe even as accurate for many of us on here as it is for other platforms, although I think the right tends to question itself less. Perhaps because lacks the interrogation skills.

I expect GB News hysterically yelling to start rioting, Farage on every news channel moaning that Britain is broken, Mo Yusuf on Newsnight apologising for wrongly thinking only asylum seekers are sexual offenders, and Pochin leading a national inquiry into white people are child sex offenders.

Yes — DJT is appealing a ruling telling him to NOT starve his own people. Let that simmer.

'How did you receive the foreigner, did you receive him and welcome him, or not? I think there is a deep reflection that needs to be made about what is happening'..."

Pope Leo calls for ‘deep reflection’ about treatment of detained migrants in U.S.
“Many people who have lived for years and years and years, never causing problems, have been deeply affected by what is going on right now,” Chicago-born pope says.

I love that Labour are STILL really pushing out the posts and content about their Renters Right Act.

Get the info out there and repeat it regularly and with new content and new approaches.

It doesn't work if you post once and hope it reaches people. Keep doing it, like Steve Reed is doing here!

So the thing they did to stop people being racist (announcing nationality) has actually made them be a whole worse kind of racist (because of course to them only white British people count) 😔.
I suppose we could have seen that coming. There is no depth to their horrible exploitativeness.

Lam believes her policy would deport all of the proportion in pink - keeping the thin group in black - of the post-2021 legal migrant arrivals. (The draft legislation proposes similar thresholds/rules for all past grants too). She says jar is 3.5m people: an astonishing scale of mass deportations

Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

But what has Labour done...

Provided a level of security and dignity to tenants while putting some control on the crazy rental market

Highlights:
- Abolish Section 21 evictions
- Ensure possession grounds are fair to both parties
- Tenants are able to appeal excessive above-market rents

After 412 days, the Renters' Rights Act 2025 has today gained Royal Assent and become law!

Thank you Labour for this hugely significant peace of legislation!

The Bus Services (No. 2) Act 2025 & Deprivation of Citizenship Orders (Effect during Appeal) Act 2025 also became law today.
