Can someone ask Farage or Zia Yusuf why, if they're so concerned about incitement to violence, they had Lucy Connolly as a guest star at their conference?

Amazing bit of 2019 footage this.

Frei doing a great job of trying to hold Farage to account as he and Nathan Gill go walkabout.

And I suspect Farage will come to regret his quip at the end about Russians if it does the rounds again.
Nathan’s mate Nigel sure did seem to want to brush it all away when questioned by Matt Frei back in 2019.

Nigel Farage of course seems to have been very happy to do his pro-Russian propaganda for free
Anyone surprised? “Former Welsh leader of Reform has pleaded guilty to bribery charges”. Such a patriot he took money to talk pro-Russian propaganda www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Let's hang Farage's "ICE-style enforcement" around his neck like a concrete albatross. Let's show people what that looks like. A majority does not want this.
Is this the "ICE style deportation enforcement" that Farage has in mind? Does this seem like a happier, safer place to you? Machine-gun armed militias, with faces covered, yanking people into unmarked cars?

Now I think we have ALL come across these people in our lives! 😂 Great thread!
I always love it when people get up on their high horse about this, because I do know lots of people who were Tories for decades and are now Reform and let me tell you, getting to know them is a highly instructive and helpful experience with many useful lessons. Give me a minute here.

Fully expect the likes of Badenoch, Farage and Tice to call this out, saying people should be "out on the streets" to protect their wives, daughters and mothers from this sex offender........

Lately, Reform UK have claimed that their hostility to migrants stems from an overwhelming desire to keep women safe.

But have they been equally concerned when the threat to women comes from someone they see as on "their side"?

@astina72.bsky.social interesting read.
The debate around care visas in the political space boils down to people saying stuff like this - we desperately need people.

It's a good soundbite but...

A significant surge in care visas were issued since 2020 in response to sector demand and yet the problem of shortage has persisted.

Why?
BREAKING: “We will be closing the care worker visa for overseas recruitment” - Home Secretary Yvette Cooper

Don’t we have a desperate shortage of care workers?

Rather than go straight to Twitter, Starmer picked up phone to both presidents. That’s the role he wants to play & is uniquely able to do so. PM will keep trying everything to get Trump & Zelensky into a better place, as he did in Washington, as he did last night & will continue to do this weekend

The Farage factor.
Keir Starmer: “If this trial had collapsed because I or anyone else had revealed crucial details while the police were investigating,... then the vile individual who committed these crimes would have walked away a free man. The prospect of justice, destroyed for the victims and their families.”

And since they want to be political about it, the blunt fact is that the alleged killer is a fan of the politics of people like Jenrick, Farage and Musk
Difficult to express how glad I am, that Robert Jenrick is not the leader of one of our major parties. To cast blame on all migrants for the actions of one person is pretty much undiluted racism. White people are - correctly - not collectively blamed for the crimes of individual white people.
