I'm reminded of this passage from Starmer's speech on the steps of Downing Street. He set out that they would do the job they set out in their manifesto, and wouldn't go down the same route so the previous govt of "noise without action". Appreciate that at times they should have been more vociferous

Also, while I am not in the habit of reductivism, it does seem that Farage learned a lot from his time around the NF. Another playbook he appears to be copying.

Am reminded of a James Acaster video, interviewing a man furious at how his town was overcrowded...... while stood in his deserted town. This has a similar feel. The interviewer should do it, or interview everyone at night who has come out (safely) just to debunk this blatant fear mongering.
