It would be great if @durbin.senate.gov @whitehouse.senate.gov & others on SJC ask Emil Bove whether--given Bove's own claim that Eric Adams couldn't be prosecuted bc it would amount to election interference--whether Trump just interfered in NYC Mayoral election & if so, whether he'll charge Trump.

A friend who works at Harbor-UCLA just told me that ICE was on the premises. Harbor-UCLA is a safety-net hospital & a level 1 trauma hospital. People are going to die because of these actions. This makes me so angry.

Exactly this. If our court system remains at all functional, Rumeysa Ozturk will win an easy victory on First Amendment grounds… after having been locked up and suffered serious health consequences for two months. How many legal immigrants will be inclined to express opinions that risk such a “win”?
The chilling effect is worth so, so much more to them than actually winning.
