I’m starting a movement against music in waiting rooms. If I’m sitting for an hour, I want to read, not listen to music I didn’t choose.

Who’s with me?

Important: House Dem leaders just said Trump's call for execution of Dems has prompted them to contact US Capitol Police and House Sergeant at Arms to "ensure the safety of these members and their families."

Treat Trump like an unhinged menace. He's weak and in deep political trouble. Don't let up.

Councils’ net temporary accommodation costs have increased more than three-fold in the last decade.

Widening affordability gaps between Local Housing Allowance rates and local rents risk pushing more families into temporary accommodation over the coming years.

This is only going to increase homelessness. Huge lack of social rental housing with no sign of the volume required coming anytime soon. Local Housing Allowance not increased to reflect true rents leave hundreds of pounds deficit each month for those renting in the private sector.

Has this government got anything right?* Half-arsed and ill thought out is going to be their legacy

*It’s rhetorical before Starmer supporters turn up and post that stupid meme, making me spend the time showing you how wrong you are
GPs up & down the country warned Wes Streeting, Department of Health and Social Care 6w ago that forcing the implementation of online forms without safeguards was a fools errand & raise false expectations

Have now decided not to talk to @BMA_GP @doctor_katie @DavidGWrigley

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

The “toxic and chaotic culture” inside Boris Johnson’s Downing St was behind the UK’s “too little, too late” response to Covid-19, with Johnson singled out for particular blame. Inquiry chair Baroness Hallett said poor decisions by him, his ministers and officials cost tens of thousands of lives.

It’s almost like Starmer is really, really bad at politics …
VERY funny that Labour are being pointlessly cruel and haemorrhaging support from their base and yet none of what they're offering is ever going to be enough for the people whose approval they're seeking, WHO could have predicted it
