Come on be better. Dehumanising and calling for the expulsion or even court martial of entire groups is at the heart of this.

Saw this on X.

Merlin Strategy, run by Scarlet Maguire (formerly of JL Partners) is Farage's favoured polling company. Until very recently, registered at the same address as the Brexit Party's old one.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Rather than pursuing ICE policies, I want a goverment that is a NICE:

Not
Imitating
Criminal
Enterprises
Trump started it.

Reform and Tories are at it too.

And Labour already heading in that direction.

All cruel, potentially deadly and does nothing to fix the cost of living crisis.

I agree it all costs though

I think the elephant in the room is that some people do not FEEL safer in London, despite it being so, precisely because it is more diverse.

You can't make an intollerant person comfortable with difference and change no matter how much you emphasise it's inevitability and that the past is gone.

Not just the image generation, but also the platforming, storing and sharing of them.
I am extremely confused as to why the UK government and police are saying Grok’s mass-scale CSAM generation is an issue for Ofcom.

This isn’t about X failing to moderate CSAM, which is an Online Safety Act issue. It is about the company and its technology being actively involved in its generation.

More ties and reliance on Trump’s America does seem somewhat unadvised at the moment. 🙄
Yet another huge contract, awarded without any competitive bidding process, to Wes Streeting's favourite NHS supplier, the Hard Right US surveillance tech specialists Palantir, for military decision making capability.
Palantir lands biggest ever UK defense deal
The £240 million contract with the Ministry of Defence has renewed a debate about Britain’s dependence on American technology.

The narrative change will be:

Insurrection > Riot > Protest > Fight for Justice.

Trump wants to set the scene that anyone who helps his agenda will be rewarded. Even if they have to fight police etc. to keep him as president.

Hes created, funding and emboldening private and unregulated militias.
Noticing that CNN is calling Jan. 6 a “riot,” not an “insurrection.”

PSA: It was an insurrection.

Even if EU leaders were made to chose, Trump would go back on his word and try to extort both anyway he could
What’s the betting Trump just straight up tells Europe to choose between Ukraine & Greenland?

Under the Treason Felony Act 1848, it is a crime punishable by life imprisonment to intimidate parliament or encourage any foreign power to invade the U.K.

We should be applying this law to every traitor openly calling for the U.S to depose our democratically elected government.

This is exactly what Labour are missing.
They've done well in passing a lot of practical bills recently that'll help, far more than the tories ever did.

It isn't enough they need more ambition, courage, better comms and morals (gaza).

Please deliver!
Despite what we are often told, this line from Mamdani’s inauguration speech is what true pragmatism actually looks like:

“Beginning today, we will govern expansively and audaciously. We may not always succeed. But never will we be accused of lacking the courage to try.”

Measles is deadly, far worse than covid, this growth could lead to more deaths.

The epidemic could cripple the USA.

Who can fight an autocoup during a pandemic?

More spending with less oversight, corruption, enforced lockdowns, curfews, sweeping new "public health" laws all useful....

Wow, look at that distribution, perfectly spaced to become an epidemic. I hope enough people are vaccinated to maintain some herd immunity.

This supports the idea that without fixing the cost of living crisis, rental and housing market having more green spaces is of little comfort.

Why would it when you don't have a roof.

I would suggest there are further negative impacts of leaving non-green potentially neglected areas undeveloped.

Each council should set up community run self sustaining homesteads. Can be used for education, leisure, food production, nutrition, help social cohesion and even a therapy for mental health. Ensuring there is variation in the speicies grown will also reduce disease and intensive farming.

Just wait until they are under cut by chlorinated chicken. Farmers voting for brexit = turkeys voting for christmas.

Regulatory alignment with our biggest trading partners (EU) is their best chance of not being consumed by big agricultural conglomerates.
