Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

Yuuuuup. Also, I don't give a shit if some of the worst people in the world think I am being performative or am virtue signaling. Fuck 'em. They don't get to tell me how to be.

Anyway, trans rights are human rights, y'all. It's not complicated.
To my fellow cishet dudes: when we are quiet about supporting the trans community, the only voices anyone hears are the Charlie Kirks of the world. Don't let accusations of being "performative" or "virtue signaling" shut you up - that's their whole point. Our voices are needed now more than ever.

I won't chesspost a lot but I needed to brag about the game where I threw two pieces away and should have lost the game two different ways but instead my opponent was rushing and stalemated me with 0.6s left on my clock

Discworld QOTD, from Snuff

“Cheery was aware that Commander Vimes didn't like the phrase 'The innocent have nothing to fear', believing the innocent had everything to fear, mostly from the guilty but in the longer term even more from those who say things like 'The innocent have nothing to fear'.”
Discworld QOTD, from I Shall Wear Midnight

“Oh, I feel very angry a lot of the time," said Tiffany, "but I just put it away somewhere until I can do something useful with it.”
Discworld QOTD, from Lords and Ladies

“I had to learn. All my life. The hard way. And the hard way’s pretty hard, but not so hard as the easy way.”

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Hi everyone let's talk about the Carlisle 52 series of cups, in particular the Carlisle 5216, a topic about which I am extremely normal. In my estimation, a triumph of thoughtful industrial design and is probably my favorite ever mass produced object. 🧵

Janeway. I grew up on TNG, TOS,& VOY, but the strong women characters on Voyager changed my life as a kid. I don’t know if I’d be in Congress if that show wasn’t on TV.

My dad was a huge Star Trek/Roddenberry fan & always talked about its social & political history. I could go on forever about ST 🪐
1. Favorite Star Trek captain?

2. What's going on with these UFOs and the UFO whistleblowers?? Should we be concerned?

Did you know you don't have to write every thought you have on the computer?

That's right - believe it or not there are many cases where the thrill of likes and reposts do not outweigh the potential real world consequences, regardless of how unlikely they are!
