Exactly. Removing the person is not gonna change the people and the society that allowed the person to rise. A complete revolution is needed, a change in order.

Been thinking about this for a few days, it’s why the solution to propaganda isn’t factchecking it’s community, and for the people creating propaganda it’s tackling them head on and not prevaricating or acquiescing to any of their points.
There’s only so far you can simplify facts before they’re no longer true, bullshit has no such bar. That’s why it’s so easy to spread disinfo, people are more likely to question things too difficult for them to fully understand, much better to believe things that back up pre-existing biases
You will never succeed at fighting right wing disinfo with facts. Right wingers believe the first thing they hear & they'll believe it for life. They'll fight to the death about some inconsequential bullshit they just heard 5 seconds ago. You beat them by calling them weird assholes & isolating them
