A randomized clinical trial published in JAMA found that patients with AF who consumed caffeinated coffee had a lower risk of recurrent AF or atrial flutter compared with those who abstained.

📊 Research Summary: Adults with #AFib who drank at least one cup of caffeinated coffee daily after successful cardioversion had a lower risk of recurrence than those who abstained from coffee and caffeine.

In PISCES, daily n–3 fatty acids cut serious cardiovascular events in dialysis patients by nearly half (HR 0.57). Fish oil clearly had bigger fish to fry than placebo: fewer MIs, strokes, cardiac deaths without extra adverse catches

The world learned a painful lesson during COVID; respiratory infections are airborne. This changes a great deal - especially the need for better indoor air quality and high quality masks. If there was a single most important person responsible it was Prof Morawska.
