Rather than uphold free expression & human rights against tyrants in Russia, China, Pakistan & North Korea, the GOP has called a hearing on free speech to attack our democratic allies in Europe!

To the world's dictators & autocrats, have no fear: Trump & House Republicans have got your back.

You expect the anti labour propaganda from the right wing media like the Mail, Telegraph, Times, Express, GB News, BBC…but when it’s the likes of the Guardian, it hits different, and not in a good way #r4today
We have had the perfect example this last weekend of why we urgently need to update how we regulate media.

The Guardian headline: Government drops health push after ultra-processed food firm lobbying.

Loads of Labour bashing results.

Yet paragraph 8 tells it happened 2yrs ago under the Tories.

It's been a six month slog, but finally, we have hit the 10,000 target. Thank you to everyone who took part ❤️

Let's see the government's response.

On a personal note, I shall be withdrawing , hopefully, someone else will pick up the baton

Petition: Commission a public inquiry into the impact of the UK exiting the European Union
Given that it has stated its aim of growing the UK economy, we think the Government needs to quantify the effects of exiting the European Union as soon as possible by setting up an inquiry.

I was never a fan of Kuenssberg, but less because of bias and more because I think she's mediocre and overpromoted. But she's unwatchable nowadays. The technique (a Sun technique, actually) of dressing every point and every question as somehow coming directly from "viewers" is utterly disingenuous.

University of Greenwich research shows how taking back control of our water delivers a better deal for the public.

Reform UK’s Sarah Pochin candidate for Runcorn called for cut in Winter Fuel Allowance!

Hard to explain away…

After locking her Facebook when announced as their candidate, it’s now open, and reveals that in 2017 she called for the same cut that Reform UK are campaigning against.

Here’s the video.

First past the post only works when two parties dominate. But now we’ve got four serious contenders in a system not built for it.

The May elections in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire may show just how weird this could get.

Why are we not talking about the most popular party leader?
Attention to Reform UK is distracting attention from the quiet rise of the Liberal Democrats. They may do well in our region

So why are we in the UK allowing Palantir - closely allied with Musk’s DOGE - access to our NHS data?
🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read.

He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords

Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

Millions of people voted with their feet for a Second Referendum on the Brexit deal and we were completely ignored.

Mainstream TV pretended the marches never took place.

It's the same with this. They who control the media control the message.
Nice to see so many posts showing pics of the resistance protests taking place across the US today!👏👏✊🇺🇸

No MP or anyone in government should ever take any free gift, of any size ever. That should be the cut and dry rule. I also think all political donations should be outlawed, second jobs, lobbying etc. Time to clean up politics. You'd soon see who is in it for genuine reasons.

This area is vital for migrating & nesting birds.

We have just days to act before this pollution spreads further.
