Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Greetings from Kyiv,
where I’m spending time in one of my favorite bookstores.

Today, I’m sorting your questions
for our next live talk (coming soon).

Outside – grey skies and unexpectedly warm November air.

This is why our central key services should NEVER be privatised. They should always remain publicly owned, in British hands.
#RenationaliseUKServicesNow
"Yorkshire Water was privatised in 1989 under the Water Act, launched debt-free and promoted as the start of a new, efficient era.

What followed was anything but. Today, the company carries almost £7bn in debt. Our rivers are polluted, our bills keep rising, and we’re told to pay still more..."
Yorkshire Water: it’s time to end the rip-off
Handing the company back to local people would return both control and value to those who need it most

Maybe the BBC might now realise that Farage, who they have championed so devotedly, is merely a thankless, backstabbing Janus-faced opportunist, who would see them destroyed and would dance on the grave?

He’s absolutely right! I’ve been critical of the BBC but only regarding the RW bias in its news reporting. I like many of the other things the BBC offers, documentaries, drama, radio & local news. The corporation needs cleansing of the political appointments so it can get back to impartial reporting
Trump's White House & fawning hacks here don't really care about the 0.001% that the BBC gets wrong. They care about all the stuff it gets right.

Our democracy should never be for sale. Local politics should be free from corporate interference & control. The Teesworks scandal is a lingering Tory toxic legacy & menace. 😔☹️

"This entire saga has a smell hanging over it. The people of Teesside, Hartlepool and Darlington are no fools. That smell will not go away until there is a full, transparent and independent inquiry."

I think a lot about the tasks I set for myself.
All of them have one simple goal:
to help you discover a country that was hidden behind russia’s bars –
and maybe even make you fall a little in love with it.

Yes, there’s a war in Ukraine.
But Ukraine is more than the war.

Trump wants to destroy the BBC and take our money. And Nigel Farage is egging him on.

All true patriots should tell them both: hands off our BBC.

So Trump is doing to the BBC what he’s threatened all broadcasters in the States🇺🇸!
Why hasn’t the govt hit back? He doesn’t have the power or right to throw his weight around in another country. I’m so sick of this annoying & unfunny buffoon!🤡😡

Good question!😤
Post Office Horizon IT contract extended for another year.

PO to pay £41m to Fujitsu.

Fujitsu was instrumental in persecution of innocent postmasters. £1.2bn compensation paid from public purse. More to follow. Fujitsu haven't paid a penny, no one has been charged.

Why is Fujitsu being rewarded?

Genuine question- does Ofcom actually do anything?
I mean how is GBNews even allowed?
📃 We have instructed a team of barristers and are in continued correspondence with Ofcom, seeking answers.

⚖️ If those answers are unsatisfactory, we intend to challenge Ofcom’s decision to whitewash TalkTV’s transphobia in court.

We all value ‘the rule of law’.

But whose law & rules? Corporations/Rich v Masses.

The law is being used to enforce existing power structures for the benefit of the few.

A few crumbs are thrown to pacify the masses but these are concessions and can be withdrawn.

See the linked article.
