Although the numbers from Laurent Perrier are not that great, they have improved significantly from the first 6M. -6% sales 12M instead of -17% for the first 6M is quite an improvement.
Still to early for calling a turnaround but it seems that things are stabilizing.

Incredible amount of seasoned EM investors ringing the alarm.
Back when I was doing emerging markets, I started analysis with three fundamental questions.
1) Does leadership understand what good policy is?
2) Does leadership have the administrative competence/capacity to implement?
3) Are there political obstacles?
Apply these to the US today. Not pretty

I didn't know about Terry Smith's relationship problems (2021-3). May not explain all the underperformance, but there's a frequent correlation between star manager underperformance & relationship breakdowns (e.g. Ackman recovered once in a new relationship). Hmm.

This has apparently been on the iPhone for years, but considering I've had Siri turned OFF since the start, I'm curious why this function was switched on by default for almost ALL my apps, including my bank app and my kids' school app. It's faster to go to 'Siri & Search' and switch them off there.
Welp. Apple snuck something dirty in our phones last night.
Settings > Apps > (pick an app) > Siri > Learn From this App
TOGGLE OFF.
You have to go through each app. My garage app, my BANKING APPS, others had that turned on automatically. 😡
