Social media turns private speculation into public discussion, which is especially harmful when events happen where it takes time to establish facts. It ends up solidifying false narratives instantaneously. Hot takes should be reserved for the pub over a beer, not widely disseminated in public fora.

For anyone living in Austria, check out this petition to keep the Klimaticket prices on reasonable levels #FPÖVP #Klimaticket

Jetzt unterzeichnen: Das Klimaticket muss bleiben!
Blau-Schwarze Sparmaßnahmen könnten das Aus für das Klimaticket bedeuten. Das wäre ein Rückschritt für Klimaschutz und belastend für Pendler_innen.

I recently had to upgrade the DB schema of a small project of mine and could not find a tool to do it that didn't have a ridiculous limit of 10 Tables on the Free Tier. But this Project does it astoundingly well: github.com/drawdb-io/dr...

Every safety regulation was written in blood, frequently with a body count higher than one, and it’s not political to put the blame on people who want to “move fast and break things” when they start breaking human lives.

I'm exhausted by all the people out there who are trying to prove they're each the most cynical world-weary disillusioned person who's not gonna ever do a fucking thing ever except dump on everything and expect to be admired for that. Wrote about that in 2016:
