I am a hypermasculine and extremely powerful alpha male. As such my greatest fears are seed oils, rainbows, people who don't look like me being on TV, and preventative medicine. I cannot explain any of these fears and consider that to be your fault.

My colleagues at Bristol Live took a stand against homophobes and transphobes who flocked to their Pride Facebook post - if only every publication would be as bold as our local press www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/news-op...
Enough is enough - we won't stand for having our posts hijacked by homophobes
Today we take the unusual step of naming and shaming some of the worst offenders - WARNING - article contains offensive language

An American who moved his family to Russia to avoid LGBTQ+ “indoctrination” is being sent to the front lines despite being assured he would serve in a non-combat role.
Dad Moved Fam to Russia to Flee Woke—Now He’s on Front Line
Derek Huffman, 46, joined the military with hopes of becoming a Russian citizen. His wife said he was duped into a combat role.

Absolutely incredible turnout for Budapest Pride! So proud of all the organizers, including some old friends, who estimate hundreds of thousands— major embarrassment to Orban

About 80% of the security questions on the premium bonds website are about getting married and having kids. How is that in any way millennial and Gen z friendly?

I know there's a lot going on at the moment but why does turning on my Nintendo Switch turn on my Sony TV but turning on my Sony PS5 doesn't? Huh?

I have no problem saying that Greta Thunberg is braver than I’ll ever be. Admit it instead of deepening your cowardice and insisting that she’s done something selfish when she’s done something truly selfless.

Weed should be fully legalized and taxed and that money should be used to fund drug rehabilitation. Pubs should be allowed to sell it for consumption in their gardens (or maybe just edibles for smell reasons) to help fight off space collapse. We are behind the rest of the world on this.

Pinch of salt of course but that does further indicate the British electorate are not frothing at the mouth for Reform the party but tangible change to the shit Tories/Labour insist on pouring down our gullets
New from YouGov: When offered a two way choice for PM, Britons prefer Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch or Ed Davey to Nigel Farage

When Brits are offered a two-way choice for best Prime Minister, Starmer beats Farage by 44% to 29%

Starmer’s lead over Kemi Badenoch as best Prime Minster is 36% to 25%

Once you figure out that you can just ask whatever you want as long as you're not rude, you're golden. You've got everything from "what's your favourite book?" to "do you think you could beat up a chimpanzee?" to "who do you hate the most?" depending on your audience
this is a bit of an adjacent point but I do think "small talk" should be thought of as a skill, and something that becomes more enjoyable once you've practiced it a bit; reckon few people just love it from the off, there's got to be some effort at the start but it then becomes genuinely rewarding
Going to try a thing.

I do not like small talk.

I believe small talk is important for social cohesion.

Both of those things are true of me and could, maybe, be true of you.

Then, when the dumbest people in the country are told to go fuck themselves, they conclude that naturally, this proves what they are doing is right and also why this is the reason it’s so important to vote for them
Living in Britain means being told you can only change things at the Ballot Box, being scolded for trying to do so, and then spending the next 5 years hearing the dumbest people in the country wonder why things can’t be better, only to then conclude that it was unavoidable all along

Look I never want to take internet introverts' side on anything (read the quotes for why) but not on a plane, never on a plane, a plane is for everyone keeping as much to themselves as possible
Unpopular opinion: I know it's cool to wear your earbuds and carry a book while pasting a disinterested, don't-talk-to-me expression on your face, but I like to talk to the person sitting beside me on airplanes. I liked it when we were willing to be inconvenienced by strangers.

Anti trans people are such rabid misogynists, it's mind-blowing.
They have officially banned trans women from playing Pool in the UK

The organisation in charge of the decision cited the recent supreme court ruling, which didn't actually rule on this at all

The true level of anti-trans insanity in the UK, fully supported by all major political parties
