Democrats snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again. Schumer's feckless incompetence rings loudly against this hollow promise to keep fighting. The only way we will have change is to support real progressives and leftists. Establishment Dems are just as bad as Republicans.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

This isn't wrong. If democrats want to win, they need to embrace the working class and class consciousness.
Elected Democrats spending more time today praising Dick Cheney than Zohran Mamdani is a great case study in abject fucking moral failure.

I LOVE NYC!
The oligarchy came out in full force against Zohran Mamdani's fight for a more affordable NYC.

It didn't matter.

Let his victory in the face of Big Money serve as a reminder that people have the power.

Two Minnesota lawmakers were shot. One is dead along with her husband.

And the President of the United States is masturbating to war machines.

When he says "land the plane" is he referring to "lithobreaking"? (KSP players IYKYK)
Q: Are you concerned about the impact on businesses of just the prolonged uncertainty?

HASSETT: No. What's happened is the belief, the high confidence that Trump is going to land this plane is making everybody create jobs in the US, move factories to the US

Yes! As someone who gained interest in the CW later in life, I have been astounded at how much white washing of confederate generals is present even in the northern states.
Always good on Appomattox day to remember that Robert E. Lee was a vile human being whose historical portayal as a reluctant defender of slavery is based on complete fabrication. He was a committed white supremacist who believed slavery reflected a natural order and commanded his army as such.
Happy Appomattox Day to all who celebrate and I expect each and every one of you to celebrate.

The correct answer is an emphatic YES!
Reporter: Is it time for new leadership in the Senate?

Jeffries: Next question.

I expect nothing less from a Jedi Master.
My trousers stayed up and no one rushed the stage and slapped me, so all things considered… a pretty good night. #Oscars2025

The right doesn't care about free speech or any other part of the Constitution. It's only important to them when it is useful. A true Republican would be screaming from the mountain tops about the constitutional crisis we are in.
Raskin: "Yesterday, Donald Trump banned the Associated Press, a 179-year-old newspaper organization, from the White House because it declines to call the Gulf of Mexico the "Gulf of America." This is straight up press censorship based on retaliatory viewpoint discrimination."

Mitch McConnell is largely to blame for the situation we are currently in, but at least he's speaking out, I guess? (Such a coward!)
In a scathing statement, Senator Mitch McConnell explains why he voted NO on Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination:

I think the administration wants SCOTUS to strike the EO down for 1 of 2 possible reasons. Either they want a reason to suspend the Constitution or to show that SCOTUS can't enforce its dictates.

If you're defending Elon and saying it wasn't a Roman salute; then do it. Walk into your bosses office tomorrow and do it. Greet your friends by doing it to each other. Own it if you think it was so innocent; prove us wrong.

IMO we are on the verge of a major recession that could hit as soon as 1st or 2nd quarter in 2025. However, it might be further out, but there are a lot of market indicators like the yield index that seem to show a trend toward recession.

I am seeing a ton of videos thanking President Obama for saving TikTok; which is hilarious and a sure fire way to get under Mango Mussolini's skin. Gentle reminder that we are still deleting all our Meta apps including Facebook, Insta, Threads, and Messenger.
The TikTok shutdown was a political stunt manufactured to boost Donald Trump’s popularity.

It did not work. Many on TikTok are now turning on Trump and TikTok leadership.

Don't forget to delete your Meta products. I just got done deleting mine.

Don't forget that he started this whole thing. Don't give him credit for "saving" TikTok if it comes back.
Feel free to share…it started in 2020.

I don't think I've ever seen a more accurate description of Bluesky than "millennial retirement home." 🤣
lmao no, TikTok users are not moving to Bluesky. They would literally rather learn Mandarin than learn how to read a feed of text posts. This is a millennial retirement home.

I can confirm that TikTok has gone dark. I will be deleting everything Meta tomorrow and writing to both my senators (dems) and representative (repub) that I will support primaries against them and will not vote for them if they are the candidate in the general election. Not left v. right; up v down
BREAKING: TikTok officially shuts down in the US.

It's time to flip the board.
We're trapped in a game of Monopoly where oligarchs own all the property and the rest of us are simply making our way around the board trying to avoid financial ruin.

They've also bought the bank and the government, so they can change the rules to their liking.

It's game over or time for a reset.

It came from a vigilante with a tumultuous past, who'd conducted a years-long undercover operation. He didn’t tell the FBI or his family. He only told me.

It's incredibly sad that we weren't able to fulfill his desire to see the first woman president. RIP President Carter.
Former President Jimmy Carter has died at age 100.

What a life.

What a legacy.

Thank you, Mr. President.
