I remember as a kid, watching the first Star Wars films, and thinking the stormtroopers seemed weirdly incompetent, considering they had been trained by this militaristic, all-powerful, tyrannical state and could be supplied with all the best weapons and gear.

My grandson mentions that, in the past, German woodsmen would train male bullfinches to whistle tunes.
If you haven't heard this before, prepare to be utterly AMAZED by the bullfinch's ability to sing a tune so perfectly! #birds

I studied the Nazis at university, taught the history of Nazi Germany on two continents and wrote for major newspapers about Nazi Germany. I am internet famous for fact- checking chuds on the history, ideology and policy of Nazi Germany. That was a Nazi salute.
