As if there's any real difference between Bond, Batman, or James Kirk. We're on our 3rd Kirk and our what, 25th Batman? He's a fictional character, ffs, just come up with a good story and cast it well. Most people will be OK with it, some won't, and the world, and the stories, will go on.

If blood and gore isn't your thing, it's not for you, but if dark humor, a taste for the absurd, & something of a palate cleanser in this stupid timeline is something you're looking for, you might have a really fun time.
