The RFK Jr. version of health, where health creates health and healthy people don't get sick and the thing that keeps you healthy is /living the right way/ is very seductive to a lot of people. It also places the burden of illness back on the ill, which decreases the value of human life.

Checked in on Internet Roadtrip to find that they reached Bar Harbor, Maine, where locals have added bunch of non-roads to Street View. So instead of making significant progress in a direction, the road trip ended up inside a movie theater, inside a bar, inside a gym, and kayaking across open water.

Yesterday at my retail job I heard a small boy around 8 years old tell his mom “it’s much more expensive, but I guarantee you I can make a higher profit” and I would just love to know what the context was. They were in the cosmetics dept so I have no clue whatsoever.

Was crying reading Little Women, and my gf asked me why. When I mentioned Beth, she asked “why does everybody care so much about her??” I read her the couple of passages that had made me cry, and by the end of it my gf was herself just about bawling. I feel quite triumphant.

It's difficult to grasp how bizarre this is.
