Never in my life have I seen a technology that creates such anguish and anger in people as generative AI. I have never seen a technology revolt people like this. The tech industry is playing with fire. People are angry, they hate this, they hate the tech industry for doing this.
Anyway, AI has already stolen friends’ work, and is going to put other people out of work.
I do not think a political party that claims to be the party of workers in this country should be using it. Even for just a silly joke.

Few know this but this is a common element of “ceasefires” historically, the ability to continuing firing until you defeat your enemy, violently, with bullets and bombs. Which they aren’t allowed to do. This, to US media, is a good faith “ceasefire proposal”

People also think disability is a ticket to a life of luxury at taxpayer’s expense and that undocumented immigrants are living it up with the government footing the bill for everything. They have to believe this or their whole worldview crumbles. Inventing people to get mad at holds the US together.
Again this is the most commonly belived conspiracy theory in America and no amount of experiencing reality can shake it
I had a right wing friend years ago who was unemployed for a long time and did a big “fuck it, I give up, I’m signing up for welfare!” reveal. and he was absolutely furious when he saw how little he got. He went on and on about how there must be another welfare somewhere, hidden from him.
