The Supreme Court of the United States today issued its ruling in United States v. Skrmetti, upholding Tennessee’s ban on healthcare for transgender youth. Today’s decision has no impact in states where health care for transgender youth is not currently banned.

A lot more people need to get a lot more serious about demanding that Congress end this presidency. We need to work this demand into every political conversation and create stronger norms against naysaying it, distracting from it, etc. until Trump is out.
A show of force and potentially a trial to see what powers the President can seize.

Utah Republicans accidently did an honest scientific and medical review of the evidence behind youth gender care instead of the overtly political reports done by the UK government and federal HHS.
Republicans in Utah commissioned an investigation into gender-affirming care for trans youth after banning it in 2023.
They're now rejecting the findings of that investigation which showed access to care reduced suicides and improved "positive mental health and psychosocial functioning outcomes."
