Whenever someone tells me no one should even introduce impeachment articles because it is a "political stunt", I am going to remind them the Democrats ruined the lives of millions of people entirely for a political stunt.

“So far, Senate Dems don't have a ton to say.”
Cool! Then they should feel what it means for their *entire* nation to hate them. Even Trump still pulls 37% support. These quisling shits need to learn what Americans think of people who make a big show of opposing Nazis, then sell out to Nazis.

Progressive groups are calling for Chuck Schumer's ouster after centrist Dems' shutdown cave. Dem senators' phone lines are "exploding" with the same demands. So far, Senate Dems don't have a ton to say.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

“If only the tsar knew it‘s no longer the 90s!”
13) I think Dem leadership still suffers from frame drag. They think it's the 90s. Trump is dismantling the powers of Congress. They have to rise to that moment and demand big things.
Vought is expanding the playing field to thinks off the table. Dems need to do the same.

They see us as marks. They're still getting too much praise from misguided resisters, still getting platforms & applause at No Kings rallies, still appearing in public without getting booed as if they were Trump himself—whose impeachment they can't be assed to support.
It's all got to change.

Senate Democrats: what just happened under our current leadership is a total travesty

This isn't one fuckup, it's a pattern, so we have to conclude that helping Republicans was what they WANTED to get out of it.
Heckle them as the fascist collaborators and crooked sellouts and all-around trash they are. Make their lives hell and their names mud so they never pull this shit again.

Trump calls it 'a good deal' and Johnson won't promise to hold an ACA subsidies vote.
Democrats got absolutely nothing out of this except helping Republicans. It's beyond words how completely they fucked this up.

There is not one sitting Democrat, not one, who has spoken with real human outrage about the fact that a rapist is in the White House. Not one has shown the kind of fury and horror your friends and family show on this subject. And these ego monsters have mics in their faces every fucking day.

There should be zero license within the party for TOLERATING THE TRUMP REGIME AT ALL, much less caving to it! Dems who aren’t screaming for impeachment should be drowned in boos daily—so, all of them.

If you think the president is a tyrant and you're running for office to oppose him the only platform you can have is "Give us enough votes to impeach and remove this menace." Otherwise what's the point of electing you?

Today is a great day to make sure you cancel ANY recurring donation to ANY sitting Democratic senator and especially to ANY of the party committees.
Yes, they will notice. Yes, they should all be afraid. Send a signal that they'll be held collectively responsible for this utter betrayal. 🧵

Maybe it's time for more service members to stop obeying Insurrectionist J. Pedophile and start following the Constitution, which very clearly says Insurrectionist J. Pedophile can't be president
Trump has executed six more civilians in a small boat. The death toll now stands at 76.

The Court did not have the authority to "turn off" the Insurrection Clause—no one does—and by going to extra lengths to nullify it, the majority became criminally implicated in the insurrection themselves
It’s such a bad idea, when one of his crimes was calling forth an insurrection, that he’s actually forbidden from holding the office by a constitutional provision, which a unanimous Supreme Court invented a way to turn off.
To repeat: Maybe electing a life-long criminal to an office where he can pardon other criminals wasn't such a good idea.

not enough chatter about how frequently members fly and how attacking airport capacity directly affects them in a way that cutting SNAP does not

And the anger doesn't even have to be colorful, it just has to be practical. It has to be about pushing for immediate change, not blowing off steam.
I will believe people are getting fed up with fascism when a genuinely useful movement like @citizensimpeachment.com has more than 9K followers.

Stop going to rallies where these sellouts are invited and stop trusting organizers who invite them. This has to go beyond primaries. Every sitting Democrat needs to feel that even their own base despises them until they demand an end to the Trump regime. Loudly. Daily. Like they fucking mean it.

These gutless fucks “cave” every day by not demanding Trump’s impeachment. Or hadn’t you noticed? Every day Dems sell out everyone’s rights, including kids’ right not to be molested, by failing to pursue the firing of Epstein’s rapist pal. Stop letting them get away with it & the caving will stop.

I think if we held a national referendum on expelling the president, VP, all of Congress, and all of SCOTUS and holding snap elections to replace them, the measure would gain overwhelming public support. I think as a people, we’re all pretty sick of all these fucking crooks.
