Would a bold narrative in the Times, where every A1 scandal that Trump had actually, appeared on A1 have made the difference? Probably not. But I'd rather the Paper of Record take a stance in favor of Democracy and informing readers instead of constant both-sidesing.

I think we, as leftists, have good ideas, and people seem generally more receptive to them than they’ve been in a long time. The trick for all of us who want to see those ideas spread is — to the greatest extent possible — not to be personally unpleasant about pushing for them
