Dangerous 32-bit eyes. 💜

One of my favourite game covers; it's so stylish and with a minimalism in design I really dig. But i'm always torn on which version I like more.

Grocery days are the hardest. He would always greet us at the door, but on grocery days he'd also supervise bringing all the bags in, investigate everything, sit on the paper bags, go in and out of the closet as I was putting things away, etc. I miss him so much.

Yeah, they're such invaluable resources for them. Here's some eye candy from the Space World 2000 CD I shared bits from earlier in the week.

When you're used to trawling old website scrapes with crushed images and physical mag screenies like I am, these are like visions of clarity from the future.

Been redoing an old felting of mine. First one I attempted - it had a rather lumpy skull and was overall pretty messy but I think i salvaged it pretty well #fiberart 🖌️

This little guy is a postcard from my collection that was mailed in 1908. I love him so much that I use him as my avatar for all my accounts!

I absolutely adore this cover for the first issue of Info 64 magazine from 1983. It's got some of the same vibes that I go for with my own (Between the Scanlines) with using a screenie as a base for them.

Digging into one of our issues of JPN NewType from 1998 and come across this little timepiece: Serial Experiments Lain hitting DVD just a couple of months after it finished airing in September.

Some sweet chat too with Lain's VA, Kaori Shimizu, who wasn't confident she'd be chosen for the role.

Poking through some of the latest Amiga demoscene productions to be released at demo parties over the last few months from a feature in Scanlines and come across an astonishingly impressive one. Especially given it's an OCS/ECS one aimed at the most humble Amiga hardware.

Some cool stills from it.

random reminder: while the vaporwave neon vision of the 80s-90s is fun it's massively disconnected from the reality that with few exceptions everything was brown

I think freaks and geeks was the last time I saw any show with a more literal depiction of the era? maybe that's why we only got 1 season
