Because I have a lot of characters and creatures with complex horn structures, I put an unnecessary amount of thought into how they are able to sleep or rest.

The butterbat (UK) or batterfly (USA) is an extremely tiny magical creature that feeds on nectar and microscopic insects. There are many species of these animals both diurnal and nocturnal, though nocturnal species are sometimes referred to as mothbats.

Named after the noise they make, the chidderin is about the size of a large dog. They are known for their uncanny climbing ability, aided by the penklatory ganglia clusters in their feet (which act like anti-gravity boots), and their tail, which constantly floats behind them.
