One of the main reasons why this hits so hard is knowing that there is literally no hope for next season. You’re still gonna have the same dumb, hillbilly prick manager and a lot less talent. The majority of the talent that will remain will just be a year further beyond their prime.

I’m horrific at keeping surprises. But for 6 weeks I kept quiet. Had wife thinking a friend & his wife were flying in for a visit. Went to the airport today & she was completely stunned when her sister walked thru the gate as my bday gift. Like a movie scene. Strangers smiling. Candy happy crying.

Caught myself looking outside the back door earlier to see if Smokey wanted inside. So many routines we built up with him that are going to be painful to break.
