My cat and I have a deal where if I’m eating something he can safely have a bite of, I’ll give him a piece of it AS LONG as he is “a patient boy” (not in my face while I’m eating, no thievery attempts) and understands that he only gets one (1) piece.

Sometimes it seems like our cats understand a worrying amount of English. One was being picky about her breakfast the other day (she just wanted a different flavor) and only ate a few bites before going to the window she likes to look out of, pawing at it so I would open it.

You know what? Fine. They’ve convinced me. Men *are* inherently fragile, morally bankrupt, selfish cowards unable to face even the tiniest bit of accountability without turning to fascism. They ~just can’t help~ but be drawn to violent racism/misogyny in response to imagined, trivial slights.

Using functional objects as decorative items is largely wasteful and unnecessary. This also applies to buying a functional object that is so expensive you don’t ever want to actually use it out of fear of “ruining” it.

Tried to get my real ID. I had my license, my SS card and my birth certificate.
I was not allowed to get my real ID because my birth name is different than my married name. Now I have to go dig up a marriage certificate. You know who wouldn’t have to do this? A man.
