it's crazy that being like "how do i explain gay couples to my kids?" isn't an unthinkably embarrassing to say in 2025. it's actually incredibly easy to explain, that should be like indignantly saying "how am I supposed to explain to my kids where the sun goes at night? did a bird steal it?!"

Yes if we lived in a different world then who cares about some new computer thing, but we live in a world where like 5 companies are doing everything they can every day to fuck us constantly and they are the ones pushing the "we're going to fuck you" machine most enthusiastically. No thanks!
its frustrating because like... i don't think AI tools are automatically of the devil or anything. i think if we had an entirely different kind of society, i wouldn't be as upset about it. maybe we'd have better AI tools. but we have the society we have, and the tech industry is the way that it is
