If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

The new game Dispatch, from former Telltale directors, is yet another 2025 indie banger. It's funny as heck, with top-notch writing and gorgeous art. I'm two episodes in and they're on par with Telltale's best work (aka: Tales from the Borderlands). And the cast, good lord!

I was browsing Proz last night and was shocked to see a listing asking for freelance help in essentially training an AI. I knew that things would be bad but it shocked me to see just how brazen some of these people have gotten.

Every single problem other fields are seeing, we saw first because we were deemed most expendable. Machine TL hallucinated. They said it'd make us more productive, not redundant. And more offers became about training and correcting. Loc has always been the canary and not enough people listened.
