So, I’ve only read a scant handful of Transformers comics…

Any recommendations?

For reference, I have DWJ Skybound, Vol 4 of IDW’s MTMTE, The “Are All Dead” story, and OG Shattered Glass under my belt

I’d say DWJ, “dead”, and the story about Magnus getting wasted at the bar are my favorites

Quite frankly, what are we even doing here. Bluepoint seemed like a pillar of Sony's lineup. Demon's Souls was the big launch title for the PS5.
BREAKING: PlayStation is shutting down Bluepoint Games, the studio responsible for modern remakes of classic games such as Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, Bloomberg News has learned.

A shocking end for a well-respected studio.

Woo! There are some favorites from before my time with DT in here

Aim for the Ace! TV - A masterclass in limited animation and a sports classic

Dear Brother - What if that last masterclass had more animation and bled with melodramatic perfection?

Personally, I really love This Week in Anime for its topical focus and humor. This month we have Sylvia Jones (@vestenet.bsky.social) and Christopher Farris (@bwprowl.bsky.social) discussing 'auteur' anime with SHIBOYUGI as a launchpad.

Is anime art? Where does the line between "art" and "pretentiousness" get drawn? Or is all art quite useless? Sylvia and Chris explore these erudite issues.

Figured some people could use a primer after that new teaser dropped, so here it is, from top to VOTOMS:
VOTOMS is always waiting to be discovered, as a story that has been continually added to for decades, with a style and vibe that speak to anyone who likes their robots just a little more real.
Okay, So What's VOTOMS?

Looking for further context on this frustrating recurring story? Earlier this year, I spoke with librarians from across the country about manga become a new target for book banners.

It’s only gotten worse since then

Still no update from the insurance company. I need to get repairs started asap. The rust is already starting to set in, and the O2 sensor is giving me issues now.

I hate to keep asking, but every share really does help. And every dollar genuinely counts.

Thank you all again for your generosity.
Please keep sharing if you can - we're still 80% of the way from our goal, and we're still a long way away from the insurance companies exiting arbitration.

To recap - 1st party insurance won't cover repairs because the other driver admitted fault at the scene.

Oh boy, this one took a little while.

In my latest for ANN, I take look into the game of Ru-Ru-Ru-Russian roulette that was the Dirty Pair Kickstarter campaign. From pandemic-related delays to company buyouts, Kei and Yuri had more than a few hurdles to clear on the road to release.
Dirty Pair fans came out of the woodwork to back this project—to the tune of US$731,406 what they got were years of delays, authoring problems, and a disc wrapped in a napkin. What happened?
