It's still a shame that over the last decade, my region has gone from having three or four decent size craft store chains, to effectively just one. But, at the very least, the last one standing is also the one I have a teacher's discount at, so that's a small boon.

Was at the anime store at the mall over the weekend and an enterprising small child was looking at the model kits and asked his dad "hey, what's this one? The G...Q...U....U....U....U..." and that kid might still be there stuck on all those Us, to be quite honest.

It's all "depicting something in a work of fiction does not mean the creator approves of it" until it's Fujiko's scenes from Lupin IIIrd: Jigen Daisuke's Gravestone. It's a great first entry in an excellent miniseries and I will not budge on this.

There's a lot of actively skeevy to merely devious shit that Google gets away but one thing that feels especially egregious to me is how every time I get a Notice of Settlement type email, Gmail marks it as spam /every/ single time.

Boutta head out to the first rhythm game tournament I'm actually participating in! And not just spectating. My pool starts in two and a half hours. My goals are simple: try not to embarass myself on stream, and get at least one win in there somewhere.
