You're right and you should say it. The first film is such a raw and powerful piece about grief and I think about it a lot. The sequels are all good action movies, but that solid emotional core just isn't there.

You may not believe me, but I definitely intended to paint this as one of the actual maids until about ten minutes after I finished basic assembly.

More than once I've told someone about this wonderful series in person and they've responded "it's called Creamy Mommy? lmao" and let me tell y'all, I felt genuine bloodlust in those moments.

This was the Saizeriya at Shinsaibashi Big Step, by far the most normal establishment at that mall. Honestly, I think about this place all the time, I need to go back and take more pictures of how delightfully weird the decor is.
This was in the Shinsaibachi Big Step and these photos really don't even start to show you how weird (affectionate) the decor is. The selection of stores is pretty wild too.

It's not plush but there is also this Kotobukiya One Coin figure that has the whole gang.

It's neat how easy it is to run into an encounter you're woefully underleveled for, and in turn, how you're less helpless than you'd expect. I was able to stunlock and do a decent amount of damage to a lv. 38 Pigeot with my lv. 16 Mareep before my poor sheep got one-shot.
