Could you imagine if a Biden WH CEA doc was leaked talking about how it's fine if red state economies were doing bad, it'd nailed to the desk of every right wing talk show for a decade
I kind of think the most revealing thing about Trump and his advisors’ view of the economy are the (false) “it’s fine, the economy is doing well in red states” lines from the CEA report that he posted on Truth Social

In America you drop your kid off at school, get your brains blown out on the ride home, then the Vice President drops everything for a week to call you a terrorist, to slander your family, to protect the circumstances that led to your death so they can do it again. It is government by Alex Jones.

Having the World Cup and Olympics here under the Trump regime is really a recipe for disaster.

Again: why would any player or fan come here under these circumstances? Especially non-white people?

Expect more of this👇🏽

This reminds me of similar articles about Fox News "straight news" reporters responding to the network's propagandistic coverage of Trump's first term -- eventually they were fired, driven out, or made their peace with what the outlet became.

Our entire politics now is about our sundowning, failing, unpopular leader, whose powers are clearly ebbing, maniacally trying to find ways to restore his STRENGTH, POWER, and MANLINESS.

Like seizing Greenland; taking VZ’s oil; killing men in boats; terrorizing US cities; bombing other countries.
Not everyone believed me when I wrote that Trump wants Greenland becuase it would make him feel important, but that's what he told the NYT:

When asked why he needed to possess the territory, he said: “Because that’s what I feel is psychologically needed for success"

It was simple, non-controversial extension on federal loans for a clean drinking water project. Then President Trump killed it to punish an entire state.

Colorado's Republicans and Democrats warned Congressional colleagues today that their community could be targeted next.

No gaslighting that what we can see with our own eyes might not be true.

This is D.C. at its worst. Every single U.S. House member supported this bill to bring clean water to Southeastern CO before Christmas — Democrats & Republicans. But they refused to stick to their guns & override Trump’s retaliatory veto. Rural Colorado is paying the price for these political games.
NEW: House Republicans uphold President Trump’s veto of a clean drinking water project in Colorado. The bill passed Congress unanimously last year. Two-thirds were needed for an override. Trump has promised “harsh measures” against Colorado over false election rigging claims.

Another liar. The ICE agents prevented a local physician from attending to her while she was slumped over in the car after being shot.
Sen. Lankford blatantly lies about what the video of Renee Good's killing shows: "A classic law enforcement moment -- they have to fire their weapon and then when you see her car crash, law enforcement is running to her to provide aid. They're never looking to be able to take a life of individuals."

This is very good from WaPo. Note position of officer's feet to side of car when first shot is fired. I think everyone defending this should be asked: Was it not even an *overreaction* to fire those shots, especially 2 & 3, into her face point-blank with the officer clearly not in danger? Really?

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Yes exactly. If protesters stand in front of cars, it’s fine to kill them, if someone is *inside* a car, then it’s fine for law enforcement standing in front of them to shoot them in the face.
This glib statement is all the more risible when you recall how many law enforcement officers used their vehicles as weapons against protesters in 2020... and how many Republican-dominated states *sought to legalize killing protesters with vehicles* as a reaction to the demonstrations
Noem: "People need to stop using their vehicles as weapons ... it's clear that it's being coordinated. People are being trained"
