There was this brief fad in California where office buildings were designed to resemble large Victorian houses. I like when people design things they enjoy looking at.

The year I went vegetarian I did one last thanksgiving turkey.
I had by this point moved the bird from the baño maria thaw, and into the brine. I would monitor the temperature, and change the ice and brine until guests started arriving on the night.
