Talking to a nurse at my GP's office today - apparently they're being inundated by people wanting MMR vaccines.
Thousands of them, she told me it seems like.
Hopefully this means our vaccination rates will get somewhere near where they need to be to stop future outbreaks.

This is literally only the 20th day of the year, and I’ve already had to do an insurance claim for the contents of my fridge freezer (power tripped while I was overseas), now my water cylinder has dumped its contents all over a couple of rooms. Waiting for the plumber to come out now.
