the players have been awful, but they absolutely were not ready to play tonight, and the coach deserves some heat for that.

When Bronny James was here for the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit, he showed role-player skills that could translate to the NBA. J.J. Redick talked pregame tonight about James learning to play a role over the past year and we've seen that development in the second half. He has five assists in 14 minutes.

At last week's EUCO summit, Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever derailed EU plans to raid frozen Russian assets to help fund Ukraine.

Privately, EU diplomats are asking: Did anyone running the meeting bother to speak to him beforehand?

Look at the Warriors. Looks like Stephen Curry is going to screen for Jimmy Butler instead it's a handoff with Butler screening for Curry. No switch, Butler gets it on the roll, GPII cuts and finishes.

The media have to start framing this accurately. The president is now functioning as a tyrant. The story is whether the other two branches of government will do anything to stop him.

Jack Draper was asked about the idea of making the first week of Grand Slams best of 3 sets:

‘If we lose the 5 sets, we lose the kind of prestige of the slams… It’s the ultimate challenge as a tennis player’

LeBron was Kareem, but Luka was not Magic in the playoffs.

I'm sure the Lakers roster will look better on paper next season, but can you count on LeBron having such a healthy year again? Probably a long shot.

Lakers legs COOKED: 5 players, 24 minutes each in second half

5/18 FGs in 4th quarter
0/4 FGs in paint
10-point lead blown
3-1 series lead for Minnesota Timberwolves
JJ Redick and David Adelman did the same thing -- pretty much went with one lineup in the third quarter on the road down 2-1 in a series to jack the lead to double digits on relatively short rest

... and now we see how cooked those legs are in the fourth quarter.
