Terrific thread puts the Republican “Bigly benefits for billionaires” bill in high relief with pie charts. Elected reps knowingly harming the people who elected them is an odd choice. Let’s make sure it’s glaringly obvious what they’re doing.

This is shameful. Law firms that choose their bottom lines over democracy by caving in & agreeing to work for Trump to advance his agenda are doing nothing but advance authoritarianism.

This is how democracies die & Skadden should be ashamed of itself.

Exactly this. Shameful and cowardly.
Hungary’s Orban is Trump’s role model. Orban is now banning Budapest Pride & authorizing facial recognition for anyone who attends.

This is why it’s so alarming that corporations in the U.S. are pulling out of Pride. They’re absolutely complicit, as are all corporations abandoning LGBTQ people.

I just got back from 36 hours in Ukraine with my brother Scott. Wanted to share a story from while we were there. At a hospital, we talked with a wounded Ukrainian soldier.

I asked him what he thought about the recent change in US policy. His response in English was, “What the fuck.”

One of the things you should be able to count on is the absolute privacy of your taxpayer data -- it's protected by law. Any request for private taxpayer information must be rejected for what it is: a violation of the law, and of taxpayer trust.
The federal government must prioritize the protection of taxpayer data. The DHS request to access taxpayer data would violate critical privacy expectations and deliberately targets and harms immigrant families. 1/
