LLM use in research and writing doesn't just mean students aren't doing the work, it means they literally abandon the very skills development and knowledge acquisition necessary for any intellectual job, let alone to know whether or when LLMs are giving them bullshit or useful info. 2/n

YES PLEASE!
Im seeing endless workshops on "how to use AI/incorporate AI in the classroom" etc, does anyone know of workshops on how to refuse AI?
Not even be critical of AI (which is often just one or two slides of handwaving-but-it-is-here) but to refuse it in the classroom and in our research?

Again, I'd implore my colleagues in the media to stop using euphemisms around "diversity" and "anti -DEI".

And start saying that this these efforts are racial and gender purgings. That these efforts are segregationist.

One of the deepest lessons of Parable of the Sower is that change is inevitable and at any given time, we are never going back to the time before.

MAGA is very literally about denying that essential truth, and unfortunately the same sort of denial has been animating Dems since at least 2020
