finished reading Playground last night and still shaking from it. Powers is now a perfect 5/5 when it comes to making me cry. This time it was a single line near the novel's final pages. I think this book is The Overstory's equal and I can't recommend it highly enough

my personal favorite takeaway, though, is how the participants rank poets, with AI Whitman at the top and human T.S. Eliot at the bottom
