At the heart of every attack on disability benefits is the myth disabled people “get perks”: a free car, loads of cash, a life off work. It misrepresents the reality of disability, whilst exploiting low wages and high living costs to make the public envy people in daily pain.

I'm nowhere near a printer right now, but I wanna adapt it and print a fuck ton and put them in every mailbox in my neighborhood. And then pass them to local businesses maybe? Regardless, this is very good.

This is their plan:

Step 1: exploit legitimate pain suffered by young people and families caused by online harm

Step 2: implement government-mandated online ID checks to "keep kids away from harmful content"

Step 3: define all LGBTQ content as "harmful to kids"

NEW — House Republicans are putting the brakes on town halls after blowback over the Trump administration's cuts.

One GOP aide said House Republican leaders are urging lawmakers to stop engaging in them altogether.

My favorite thing about government leaders is when they’re like “They can’t do that! It’s illegal!” and then do nothing to stop it.

So if I steal someone’s identity it’s fraud, but if a billionaire does it, it’s “still fraud but we asked him to stop and he didn’t so our hands are tied”??!

I really hope he wins a Darwin award. Soon. I don't care how, frankly.
The black-footed ferret is one of the most endangered animals in North America.

The human wrecking ball has slashed funding & fired 1/4 of staff keeping the species alive - impacting the whole prairie ecosystem from pollinators to streams.

This animal is on the edge of extinction. Trump just fired the people trying to save it.
Job cuts and frozen funding could inch one of the world’s rarest species even closer to extinction.

Darkly funny that vaccines have worked so well for so long that folks have straight forgotten what it means to catch a real disease that could kill you instead of mildly inconvenience you.

"I’m old enough to remember what happened the last time the GOP tried cutting healthcare to offset tax cuts for the rich. In 2018, they attacked the ACA. That November, they lost the House by the biggest margin in modern US history. That’s the sleeping giant they’ve awoken by attacking Medicaid."
Republicans play dumb on Medicaid cuts

Now he just helped Andrew Tate, who is charged with rape and human trafficking.

Any media outlet hanging on to a shred of journalistic timber should televise these hearings.
Arizona AG Kris Mayes, New Mexico AG Raul Torrez, and Oregon AG Dan Rayfield will begin holding Community Impact Hearings — a national series of townhalls "to hear from the public about the impact of federal firings and DOGE funding freezes across the country."

The first will be in Phoenix March 5.

I hope some gruesome misfortune befalls him swiftly. I won't be more specific, because I don't know what's against the terms of service. 🤷‍♀️
This is the disgusting person Trump wanted released to the United States despite his heinous human trafficking charges. Listen to him describe how he’d grab women by the neck.

If you need a somewhat more personal reason to bug the hell out of your representatives about this, I use Medicaid. And if I lose access to healthcare/medications, I will be OBNOXIOUS AND INCESSANT in complaining about it. You will hate me. I will be, just, SO annoying.
The House GOP just passed a draconian budget resolution, but despite GOP misinformation, this is just a blueprint, not a final bill. That means there’s still time to push back against proposed Medicaid cuts and tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. Here’s what you need to know. 👇
The Budget Blueprint Is No 'Big, Beautiful Bill'
At best, it’s a concept of a plan. But then they’ll try to spin it to voters.

This is what fascists do and what they have always done.
The embrace and protection of Andrew Tate at the highest level of US government tells you everything you need to know about this rotten administration. They worship at the altar of abusing women and girls. Their version of morality supports sex trafficking under the guise of camming
