Can't remember if I shared this here, but here's the first 2 minutes of Stranger & The Strange, my weird west animated short I'm working on in my off hours.

It's my birthdayyy today so I'm going to ask for a cheeky lil artshare if you like my work since I'm still pretty new to the bluesky art community c:

Honestly wild that they don't see how it's actually very confusing and frightening for big, mean guys who attacked your dad and kidnapped you to also try to comfort you.

Being ripped away from a parent suddenly is deeply traumatic, especially at a young age. Being "nice" after doesn't fix it.
Lyons says ICE agents actually "took care" of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos when they detained him, before shipping him off to a horrific Texas ICE facility.

He says ICE officers "comforted him" as they chased his dad, put him in their car to play "his favorite music, then took him to McDonalds."

Understanding my own place on the autism spectrum and understanding more of that spectrum in general makes taking in Tolkien's essays about Fairy Stories kinda funny.

He spends so much time declaring what "REAL" fairy stories are lol

The executives are apparently the dumbest people working in the entertainment industry by a huge margin.

Any attempt to understand this tech would show what a bad idea it is to invest so much money into a massively expensive venture that has no clear path to profitability.
The Disney board says new president Dana Walden's early objectives include:

• Exploring incorporating AI into movie production

• Improving profits generated from Disney+

For years people were like "there's no evidence that Woody Allen is a horrible abuser as long as you ignore all the evidence," but I wonder if people will sing that same tune now that he's all over the Epstein files.

She is not. It can not learn. It can not comprehend the words it is trained on and can output.

This is a bullshit narrative with a framing disconnected from the reality of the tech.
“She compares her work to the efforts of a parent raising a child. She’s training Claude to detect the difference between right and wrong while imbuing it with unique personality traits.”

I wonder how it feels to be the kind of man who has made most people who know your name actively root for your painful demise?

May we all strive to live in a way that avoids such a fate.

Just learned about Honeyguides.

At first you learn they work with humans to get food and you're like "how heartwarming."

Then you learn they leave their egg in another bird's nest, then it hatches earlier than the other eggs and kills all the other chicks in the nest.

Horrific if you're a bird.

I simply can't trust ANY bagels from a restaurant to not have some amount of onion on them. I've tried so many different places and run into this exact problem every time.

Being repulsed by onions is endlessly frustrating and certainly doesn't help my appetite issues.

I want so badly to never see an AI summary on YouTube again, they suck so bad

And sometimes I've seen the summaries outright REPLACE the comments on mobile, which is a wild new level of frustration

This is a pretty good example why, even outside of creative, if I find out your business uses AI at any point in your workflow, I lose 90% confidence.

It’s not an ethical concern, it’s a competency one. I assume you’re an idiot if you think these things can work reliably in any critical role.
I don’t want to laugh at a small business but also VERY funny

Our elderly Dem reps are so fond of figuratively rolling over and dying.

Sure wish they'd just do it literally and let the rest of us actually try to do things.
February 7, 2026 at 4:48 AM
The thing is, let's assume you're just talking about people inadvertently using AI because it's being shoved into anything: nobody is scolding normal people at the mercy of tech giants, or people forced to prompt at their jobs.

If you go out of your way to generate stuff? That's on you.
