I do think that, as insignificant as each protest might seem in isolation, the additive resistance across the whole country is helping us avoid worst case scenario.
We also have the advantage of information being able to spread like wildfire.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

Well I’m glad that his mother-in-law is privileged enough to not care if she gets her Social Security check. I have family members who would not be able to eat if they didn’t receive theirs.
Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnick says if Social Security skipped a check, his mother-in-law wouldn’t complain—and if you would, it indicates you are probably a fraudster. Insane.
