I know the world is burning now, but my little bit of joyful resistance as an artist is to continue to create. I finished this oil and acrylic painting,”All Eager for the Treat”, which is part of the “Through the Looking Glass” show opening Saturday at Poetic Tiger gallery.

Back in the studio, and working on my paintings. I had a little break(down), but I realize that I went against my own resolve to not give these people my energy; to focus on actions I can take, yes, but they don’t get to wear me down. I will likely need more breaks this time around. But I’m here.
