My husband went to a viking metal concert yesterday -- in chainmail, as you do -- and had an amusing moment at the metal detector.
It didn't go off. He and the bouncer were waiting for it to shriek, but nope! Apparently the machine processed it as 30 lbs of wedding rings, and decided that was fine.
