This is what's going to happen:

Federal workers will slow things down till they're fired. The court cases will launch, take time, and ultimately be ignored by the admin. They will then overplay their hand, because they've never had to run things that actually matter before. Things will break.

If people want to understand why American politics went bananas in 2012, the reason is that the moderate black President took a modest but consequential step toward decoupling healthcare from employment and every billionaire immediately poured their entire portfolio into race-hate media

This. It wasn't a failure in its true purpose.
DOGE is only a failure if you took their mission in good faith. DOGE destroyed so many government funded projects, gutted agencies of key staff, and illegally obtained large data sets.

Their goal was never efficiency, it was to destroy and steal and they were very successful at doing both.

NVIDIA earnings were a mirage. The market figured it out surprisingly fast. NVIDIA bump evaporated.

JD Vance owns a company that buys American real estate and sells it to foreign investors. They specifically target Americans in crisis to buy their property for less than it is worth.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

If a genie gave Democrats 3 wishes, they'd negotiate it down to 1 wish—then wish for something they think Republicans will like

Democrats continue to prove the stereotype of being feckless appeasers, and we're all worse off for it. We need a true opposition party more than ever—because this aint it

Hi, Jean. My friend is a Nigerian prince who needs to urgently retrieve $1,000,000 from an abandoned trust from his father.

If you can wire $5,000 today, you will be entitled to 35% of the trust. Please reply at your earliest convenience.

We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

'at this point' was 40+ years ago.
At this point, it’s utterly bonkers that any Democrat would trust any Republican to negotiate in good faith.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

theres a whole category of newstertainment thats gotta go. and its "ask a really rich freak who is also evil and directly stealing from you what hes seen on the computer lately that has made him feel bad." the only -- ONLY -- story about this guy worth exploring is: he is getting rich spying on you
